Well I guess I finally made it to the big time! My very own web page! Let me introduce myself. I am Art Tousignant. A father, US Army Paratrooper, mechanic, CPR instructor and volunteer fire fighter. Not always in that order! I got lucky and married an angel, I love you Robin! And we have six, yes children. Two together and four from my previous marriage. We have our hands full. I've spent the past 15 years in the Army serving my country, and now I serve not only my country, but my community also as a volunteer fire fighter. So what do you do? | |||||||||||||||||||||||

I think President Kennedy put it best. If you are just sitting around complaining about how screwed up everything is, then evidently, you are part of the problem! Truth hurts doesn't it! I love to hear people complain that this is wrong and thats all screwed up.... SO WHAT! If you aren't doing anything to fix it, SHUT UP, AND KEEP YOUR OPINIONS TO YOURSELF! I try to give 110% in all I do all the time, but I'm no saint. If you don't try to fix what's wrong you are part of the problem. We can only fix problems by getting involved. You don't have to try to take on the world, but have the courage and the intestinal fortitude to say this is wrong and I'm going to fix it! Get involved! | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Okay.... I'll admit it, I'm not the brightest guy on the planet, maybe even an amatuer philosopher, but if everyone spent one half of the time and energy they use trying to solve and fix problems instead of just griping about them....... Well I think you get the picture. | I discovered that the volunteer fire department that serves my area was kind of... lets say behind the times. Instead of complaining about it, I signed up. I joined them. Now I am working to solve the problems they have and serving the people of the community I live in. My dad taught me griping about it doesn't solve anything. If you want to catch fish, you don't sit on the bank of the river and yell at the fish..... you cast a line! You take action! Thanks Dad. You really did teach me something along the way.
